Well another birthday come and gone. It was a nice day. The family went to eat Mexican food and then we went to the park and watched AJ run around and have a good time. My Aunt and cousin made me a cool scrap book for my birthday. I also got a nice birthday wish from my friend Brenda and my brother. Here is our first family picture.

Well, I'm officially 35 years old. WOW! I can't believe it. I was thinking about this on my way to work tonight as I listened to 101.9 the End's 80's weekend. I can't believe it was so long ago that I was in High school. As I listened to Oingo Boingo I was transported back to 1986 and the memories of going to the dance clubs on the weekends was suddenly rushed into my memories. It feels so weird when I get glimpses into the past and not only remember scenes, but feelings from the past. I can listen to certain songs from the 80's and instantly I'm back at that spot feeling as if I was a 16 yr old punk dancing to new wave music. Not long after that reality hit and I started thinking that when I am 40 years old My boy will only be 6 years old. That smacked me right upside the head. Then I thought about when we have a second child. I'm going to be a old man raising these kids. I will be in my 50's when they are in high school.

well, it's been a while since I wrote in here, but since no one reads it anyways I guess it doesn't matter. Last weekend our family went to Idaho to visit Grandma Call. We went with Shaun and Natalie. We needed to take a TV that Shaun got for her to replace her broken one.

I passed my VOIP test today after the third try over a 5 month period. I was pretty excited, because I didn't think I would. I guess I have learned something while studying.

Right now I am on my porch enjoying my laptop and watching AJ play in the leaves and run around. It is a beautiful day.

I can't believe I will be turning 35 this Monday. How did I get to be so old?

This weekend I started my intro to wireless networks class. One of our assignments was to wander around SLCC Redwood Campus and find certain access points by looking for MAC addresses and signal strength. I was thinking to myself the whole time that we all looked like a bunch of geeks running around with our laptops open going from one building to another. Oh well, the class is fun. We built a directional antenna out of a pringles can. Now it's back to work.
