What a day Saturday was! We (Laura, A.J., and I) went up to Logan Friday night so that we could help Shaun and Natalie finish roofing the house on Saturday. Natalie, Shaun,Doug, and Daniel had been working on this most of the week. They had layers of shingles they had to take off. They had cedar, glass, and asphalt shingles on this roof. You should have seen the pile on the ground. I spent almost the whole day cleaning up shingles and man was that a dirty job. I was filthy!!! I was exhausted by the end of the night. We were going to go to the fair inTremonton, but it was late and we were hungry. So Shaun, Natalie, Laura, and I went to eat Mexican food. AJ was sound asleep by this time. He was worn out from watching his uncle Shaun load shingles into the trailer with the skid loader. It was a good day. I burned tons of calories. It was great!

Sunday was a good day. We went to church and I taught my primary class. I have the best kids in my class. I've got them trained to take notes since we are touching on history of the church stuff. There are a bunch of new young couples in our ward. It's kinda exciting to see new faces.

I hope some more (younger couples) move into our neighborhood and buy up these houses so that we can make the neighborhood better by having some young blood to fix up houses and yards. I'm tired of people that dont' take care of their yard at all. They leave their garbage all over the front lawn. Then we have the drug houses. At least keep the junk organized if it is going to be in the front yard. Make some effort to make it better and not keep adding to the mess. I'm not asking for perfection here, just a little effort to keep things nicer so that people aren't scared to visit our Neighborhood. It's bad enough we already live under the stereotype of the "Westside". Granted it's not the best neighborhood as far as crime goes, but neither is the Avenues or Sugarhouse, but hey! people are willing to pay big bucks to live there. What's sad is that I'm guilty myself for ultimately wanting to live in another part of town. Oh well! Like I always say "Everyone is a hypocrite".
