Well, I've been on little mission of sorts lately. I have made it a point to talk to my neighbors and get to know them. The other day I met Janine, she is a grandma that lives alone. She was a very nice lady. Two days ago I met some other neighbors. A.J. Had been crying and I didn't know why so I took him outside to walk around. We stopped by our neighbors house because they were trimming their trees and I thought I would ask if they needed any help and they also have Puppies so I thought A.J. would like to see them. A.J. was just crying the whole time. They were really nice. They have lived in their house about the same amount of time we have in ours. A.J. was in really bad pain and I started to smell a stinky diaper so I took him in the house and found out that his little butt was burned. It looks like he is cutting another tooth. Poor kid. I got him bathed and changed and he was feeling much better. So yesterday I went back over to the neighbors and brought my branch trimmer and started talking with the neighbors again. They are from Mexico like a lot of people in our area. They were super nice. They gave me some tamales to try and they were awesome. They invited me into their house and we talked about their business. They rent out the big blow up trampolines. These guys are quite the entrepreneurs. Last year they were going up to Park city for the yard sales and then they would bring the stuff down and sell it on Redwood Road and make a profit. They are hard workers. I wish we could change the laws so that the people that want to come here and are willing to work hard and participate in our country could get legal status with more ease. They have nothing and are willing to work for everything. Unlike our own people that demand that the Government pay for everything, while they sit on their lazy butts and complain. I feel like yelling at them "GET TO WORK!!" There are just too many able bodied adults out there doing nothing except collecting a check from the government. Anyways, back to my mission. I have enjoyed getting to know the people around my neighborhood. I have made it a point to say hi to everyone I see while I go on my walks or as people pass by my house while I'm outside. It feels good to see someone's face light up when you say "hi".
